Dough Preparation
Semolina – 1 cup (سوجی)
All Purpose Flour – 4 tbsp (میدہ)
Salt – 1/2 tsp (نمک)
Warm Water – 1/2 cup (گرم پانی)
Mix the ingredients and make a dough. Cover the dough and give 15 minutes rest. Cut the dough into two pieces and roll out dough into circle shape.
Roll it as thin as possible so that the gappy comes out crispy. Cut the dough into 2 inch circle shape. I have used the bottle lid . You can also use glass with the same size. Now put them in a tray and give 5 minutes rest. After 5 minutes deep fry on the low flame
Gol Gappay Serving
Boiled white Chickpeas – 1 cup (ابلے ہوے سفید چنے)
Boiled Black Chickpeas – 1/2 cup (ابلے ہوے کالے چنے)
Boiled Chopped Potato – 1 cup (ابلے کٹے آلو)
Chopped Onion – 1/2 cup (کٹی ہوئی پیاز)
Chopped Mint – 3 tbsp (دھنیہ)
Chopped Coriander – 3 tbsp (پودینہ)
Chat Masala – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp (نمک)
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
Gol Gappay water (Pani)
Green Water
Fresh Coriander – 1/2 cup (دھنیہ)
Fresh Mint – 1/4 cup (دھنیہ)
Green Chilli chopped – 2 Pieces (سبز مرچ)
Salt – 1/2 tsp (نمک)
Chat Masala – 1 tsp
Black Salt – 1/2 tsp (کالا نمک)
Crushed roasted cumin – 1 tsp (بھنا کٹا زیرہ)
Ginger Powder – 1/4 tsp (سونٹھ)
Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp (لیموں کا رس)
Tamarind Pulp – 2 tbsp (املی کا گودا)
Water – 1/2 cup
Add all the ingredients in the blender and blend for 3 -5 minutes. Now Add 4 cups of cold water. Strain and Add 1 cup ice cube
Imli ka Paani
Tamarind Pulp – 1 Cup (املی کا گودا)
Water – 5 Cups (پانی)
Carom Seeds – 1/4 tsp (اجواین)
Crushed Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp (کٹا ہوا زیرہ)
Ginger Powder – 1/2 tsp (سونٹھ)
Black Salt – 1 tbsp (کالا نمک)
Chat Masala – 1 tbsp (چاٹ مصالحہ)
Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp (لال مرچ پاوڈر)
Salt – 1 1/2 tsp (نمک)
Sugar – 1 tsp (چینی)
Add all ingredients into the pot and boil for 10 minutes. Keep the Imli Pani in the fridge for 30 minutes until it gets chilled
